Five years and counting, the JangleBox® continues to garner accolades from guitarists and industry publications everywhere. Our original goal was to capture that clean, bright ringing chime popularized by the Beatles, enhanced by the Byrds, and integrated into the sonic palettes of scores of groups including R.E.M., Tom Petty, the Pretenders, the Church, Teenage Fanclub, etc. Thousands of satisfied customers later, it appears we succeeded.
This simple plug-in/play compression pedal creates a bold sustain that will give your Ric, Tele, Gretsch, Strat — whatever the guitar — remarkable presence. Unlike other units that clip or distort the original signal, the JangleBox expands the compression “sweet spot” to maintain a clean, even tone, with true bypass.
So, five years down the road, in an effort to better meet our customers’ needs, we worked through an exhaustive 18-month process with an international assembler to achieve five objectives for our new, upgraded silver JangleBox:
1) Lower the price
2) Eliminate the pin-positive polarity issue
3) End assembly delays that had customers
waiting up to eight weeks for their JangleBox
4) Maintain the same great JangleBox chime, sustain and brilliance, still using top-grade components
5) Expand our limited dealer network.
With our new silver JangleBox, our first four goals have been met. We're confident #5 will fall into place soon.
