The 25th Anniversary Guitar truly is a ONE-OF-A-KIND masterpiece, created to celebrate the culmination of Bob Benedetto's 25 years of archtop artistry at the time of its creation in 1993. Hand-carved from the same European woods used by master violin makers Stradivari, Guarnieri and Amati, this exquisite instrument is the epitome of tonal balance, ease of playing and tasteful detailing. Benedetto's tour de force is graced with original appointments; the exotic burl-veneered headstock is delicately inlaid with an abalone cluster engraved with a simple "25" to denote the occasion; a solid ebony tailpiece, also burl-veneered, uniquely fastens to the guitar with cello tailgut; a warm shaded natural finish completes the instrument, a variation of the honey blonde finish he is famous for. The back plate is signed by Bob and also bears a label indicating the Model and serial number. The sound is full, warm and responsive throughout the lower and upper registers! Serial# 29193.
