This one-of-a-kind guitar, was custom made by Bob in collaboration with Kenny Burrell. It was featured at the Smithsonian Museum in 1998 as part of the Blue Guitars from the Chinery Collection Exhibit. Kenny debuted the instrument by playing it at the Smithsonian Institution's Blue Guitar Concert in Wolftrap Farm Park, VA, on June 14, 1998. Framed photos from the debut, signed by Bob accompany this fine instrument. Serial #41798.

BODY: Archtop: 17" lower bout, 3" body depth, Florentine cutaway
TOP: Carved, hand-graduated and tuned, select grade European spruce
BACK: Carved, hand-graduated select, highly flamed European flamed maple
SIDES: Select, highly flamed European flamed maple
HEADSTOCK INLAY: Mother-of-pearl ribbon with "Kenny Burrell" engraved
BRACING: X-braced European spruce
