Custom, One of a Kind by Bob Benedetto!
This lightweight instrument, inspired by the Golden Period, has a powerful yet warm bass response, coupled with ringing overtones in the upper register. This instrument is distinguished by the subtle unique design of its three-piece back of European bookmatched maple, centered and joined by an Indian Rosewood inset, along with the fine line wood purfling and Indian Rosewood outer binding. The gorgeous light violinburst finish was hand applied by Bob, consistent with the methods of the era. This custom Benedetto creation sounds as sophisticated as it looks!
