DHR Music adds newest member, Bill Neale, as director of Client and Artist Relations

January 2009 – We proudly welcome the newest member of DHR Music, Bill Neale, who we have just hired to join us as Director of Client and Artist Relations. He is extremely accomplished in both music and business which we expect to be a great asset to DHR Music.

Bill Neale

Bill Neale took to the guitar very early on and by the age of 18 he had already played with Sammy Davis Jr and the Temptations. Bill has a unique work history, in that he was a successful musician, producer, arranger, and songwriter for over 16 years. In 1986, he changed careers and had a successful career in sales and sales management while continuing to keep his feet wet in the music world.

In addition to touring with The Temptations, Sammy Davis Jr. and Deniece Williams, Bill worked as a Studio Musician in L.A. for 10 years. He played on albums by artists such as Teddy Pendergrass, The Temptations and Lou Rawls. One of Bill's favorites was Deniece Williams' hit,"It's Gonna Take A Miracle". In addition, he was the staff guitarist for all Chuck Barris Television productions, including "The Gong Show". Other shows included Dallas, The Tonight Show and Fantasy Island. During that time period, he represented the Kawai Corporation at two consecutive NAMM shows for their line of guitars. In 1997 Bill was featured in "Vintage Guitar Magazine" and in 1998 he appeared as a featured guest on the award winning "World of Guitar" TV show.

He received both Gold and Platinum record awards - a RIAA Gold award in 1980 for his guitar solo on Robert John's hit record "Sad Eyes", and a RIAA Double Platinum award in 2001 as a songwriter for Will Smith's "Willenium" CD.
