August 2010 - DHR Music is proud to announce the addition of Guitar Furniture to our product offerings, as the exclusive distributor for Metz Functional Art. Metz Guitar Furniture is known throughout the world and is owned by some of the most prominent musicians, performers, and collectors. The furniture is functional, in addition to making a creative artistic statement in your living or working environment. Each piece that Rick produces is custom designed, signed and numbered.  We have exquisite guitar chairs, bar stools, pick tables, and clocks in our current inventory. You have the option to purchase one we have in stock, or custom design a piece to resemble your dream instrument.

Rick Metz Bio:

Rick Metz is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He has built furniture since the age of five, carrying on his family's long-standing heritage of woodcrafting. In 1995, Rick decided to take a calculated risk and opened his own exclusive shop for chairs, named "The Chair Repair Shoppe", which grew rapidly, generating regular backlogs. By 2000, Rick was acknowledged with the prestigious award "Best of Cincinnati" for his industry by Cincinnati Magazine - a significant achievement. After introducing guitar furniture, Rick's clientele has grown to include music producers, musicians, recording studios, guitar collectors, as well as music aficionados. His custom handcrafted pieces have been sold all over the world, including Australia, France, Canada, and the U.K. Recently, Dale Rabiner of DHR Music and Rick were introduced to one another and have created a partnership to bring these fine, custom creations to guitar aficionados worldwide.
