Highlights from the Arlington Guitar Show 2008!

Oct 2008 - We have just returned from the Arlington Guitar Show. Thank you for helping to make the show a success! We displayed a wide range of archtop, solidbody, semi-hollow, and acoustic guitars from Benedetto, Breedlove, and Hamer guitars, amplified by Henriksen JazzAmps. It became a popular hang for guitarists looking to test out the guitar models and amps - drawing in a fascinated audience.

Dan Faehnle, who formerly toured with Diana Krall for three years, (hand-picked by the vocalist herself) is the newest Benedetto player and was playing at our booth. Dan currently resides in Cincinnati, OH, and tours with with the hot group Pink Martini. He also has his own group, the Dan Faehnle Trio and Quartet, which performs regularly at Cincinnati's The Blue Wisp Jazz Club. Terms such as "a player to be reckoned with", "Guitar Guru", and "Jazz Giant" have been used to describe Dan's musicianship. To learn more about Dan, visit his website at: http://www.danfaehnle.com.

Along with Dan, Howard Paul (CEO and President of Benedetto Guitars), Danny McKnight (Benedetto 7-string player) and the great Clint Strong stopped by the booth to play. They drew in the crowds and stopped visitors in their tracks.

We also held a drawing for a free accessories package valued at approximately $150. Congratulations to our winners Donald Rockett of Arlington, TX, and Tom Reynolds of Ft Worth, TX!

..... Look for us next at the Great American Guitar Show - Fall Philly on Nov 22nd & 23rd! We will be displaying Benedetto, Breedlove, and Hamer RH and LH guitars, along with JazzAmps, Klotz cables, and miscellaneous accessories. We also have a number of great guitarists lined up to play at the booth, including: Benedetto player and jazz great, Jack Wilkins , versatile player Bill Neale (Sammy Davis Jr's session player for a number of years), and Breedlove artist and flatpicker, Tim May. Plus, who knows - there may be a few surprises along the way. It should be a great time - we would love to have you join us!
