Highlights from the DHR - Collings Grand Opening Celebration on Sept 26th!

Sept 2009 - To celebrate our new showroom, we have hosted a series of opening celebrations, with a focus on the individual companies that we represent. Our third in the series was with Collings Guitars on Sept 26, 2009. We had live entertainment by nationally recognized artists as well as local musicians, complimentary refreshments, Collings guitars along with music-related sculpture and photography on display, and a $1,000 gift certificate giveaway! Congratulations to John Searcy of Cincinnati, OH, who was the winner! We were also honored to have Bill Collings, the founder of Collings Guitars, provide a presentation about his world class flattop acoustic, electric, and archtop instruments, along with a Q & A session.

All the attendees had a fabulous experience! The room quickly became standing room only .... and most stayed the entire four hours mesmerized. If you were unable to attend, stay tuned for our future events. We will be hosting other public events such as guitar clinics and concerts.
