On Saturday, Sept 26th from 1 - 5 pm, DHR Music will be hosting a special event featuring award-winning Collings Guitars.

The president and founder of Collings Guitars, Bill Collings, will be our featured guest to share the fine art of making world-class guitars. He will discuss the various Collings models, followed by a Q and A session that will be informative to guitarists and aficionados alike.

Bill Collings has been building highly regarded acoustic guitars for decades. He has created an organization that produces boutique-quality instruments both acoustic and more recently electric. Collings Guitars continuously receives raving reviews. Most recently, a panel of industry professionals at the 2009 Summer NAMM show honored Collings Guitars with its "Best in Show" award.

We are also proud to present Collings endorser, Pete Huttlinger. He has been a featured artist with the San Diego and Houston symphonies and is a favorite guest artist of the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. In 2000 Huttlinger won the title of National Fingerstyle Champion at the prestigious Walnut Valley Festival. In the past five years, Pete has stepped into the solo spotlight. In 2004 and 2007, Steve was invited to participate in both of Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festivals. In 2007, he made his debut at New York City's Carnegie Hall and was invited back in 2008 for his first appearance there as a solo artist. He has just released his latest CD, "Fingerpicking Wonder - The Music of Stevie Wonder". "In Pete Huttlinger's hands, a fingerpicked flat-top becomes a mini-orchestra.
